Part-Time LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor) – Remote Position

About Us: Cardinal Hope Mental Health Counseling Services PLLC is a growing virtual private practice based in Syracuse, NY, serving clients throughout New York State. Our mission is to empower individuals and couples through culturally sensitive, evidence-based therapy tailored to their unique needs. We specialize in helping adults navigate trauma, high-functioning anxiety, relationship challenges, and more.

We are looking for a part-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team. If you’re passionate about supporting diverse populations, enjoy working with couples, and have leadership experience, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Role: As a part-time LMHC, you will:

  • Provide individual and couples therapy (at least 15 hours per week)
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to address anxiety, relational issues, and trauma
  • Work with multicultural populations and align with our client-centered, trauma-informed approach
  • Participate in individual supervision and contribute to a collaborative team culture
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a valid LMHC license in New York State
  • Has at least 2 years of direct clinical experience
  • Experienced in couples therapy and familiar with attachment and relational frameworks
  • Comfortable working with trauma and high-functioning anxiety clients
  • Has supervisory or leadership experience (preferred but not required)
  • Flexible availability, including some evening or weekend hours
  • Detail-oriented and committed to providing high-quality care
  • Interested in expanding clinical knowledge and developing areas of specialization
