    Join Our Compassionate Team: Licensed Mental Health Counselor Position Available

    At Cardinal Hope Mental Health Counseling Services PLLC, we’re proud to foster a nurturing environment that prioritizes the mental well-being of our community through support, empowerment, and culturally attuned services. We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals, groups, and couples, particularly those from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our practice specializes in managing anxiety, navigating trauma, and resolving relationship issues, and we’re looking for a dedicated professional to enhance our clinical offerings.

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

    • Must possess a full New York LMHC license and be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
    • Should have a solid background in providing clinical supervision, ideally with experience guiding graduate interns.
    • A strong foundation in couples therapy is essential.
    • Requires at least 2 years of both direct clinical and supervisory experience.
    • Must be flexible with scheduling, willing to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
    • A collaborative spirit, capable of independent work on necessary tasks, with a keen interest in furthering clinical expertise, especially in areas of anxiety and couples counseling.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the use of evidence-based treatment methods.
    • Attention to detail and proficiency in creating accurate clinical documentation is a must.
    • Prior experience in treating anxiety and relationship issues is highly valued.
