Struggling to Silence Anxious Thoughts? Feeling Lost in Your Relationship?

If you’re tired of the endless “what-ifs” that cloud your mind, making each day feel like an uphill battle, you’re not alone. Anxiety can feel like a constant loop of overthinking, tugging you away from the present. Or, if your relationship feels like it’s stuck in cycles of miscommunication and you’re constantly feeling unheard, it can be isolating and frustrating.

That’s where I come in. My specialty is helping individuals struggling with anxiety break free from those thought patterns that hold them back and guiding couples toward better communication, trust, and connection. For those looking for effective tools to find relief and rebuild, I provide a path forward that is grounded, practical, and attuned to your unique needs.

My Approach: Personalized, Practical, and Cultural-Aware Therapy

Everyone’s experiences are unique, so your therapy should be, too. As a Level 2 Gottman-trained couples therapist and a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) specialist for anxiety, I tailor my approach to fit each client’s needs and take your cultural and life background into consideration. My goal is to help you feel safe, understood, and empowered.

    How We’ll Work Together

    • Anxiety Therapy with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)Through CBT, we’ll dig into those looping thoughts that drive anxiety, reshaping them so they no longer dominate your day-to-day. I help clients make powerful connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, which brings greater calm and control.

    • Couples Counseling with the Gottman Method using Level 2 Gottman techniques, I guide couples through improving communication, rebuilding trust, and rediscovering connection. For premarital couples or those navigating complex issues, this approach is a trusted path to deeper understanding and renewed closeness.

    Educational Background and Leadership

I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a certification in Interdisciplinary Trauma Studies from SUNY Oswego, along with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology from Morrisville State College. I’m also proud to serve as President-Elect for the American Counseling Association of New York, a role that keeps me actively engaged in best practices, advocacy, and ethical leadership in mental health.
